About ECU Health Beaufort Hospital, a campus of ECU Health Medical Center
ECU Health Beaufort Hospital is located in Washington and serves as a campus ECU Health Medical Center, our Level I Trauma Center in Greenville. The 142-bed full-service hospital offers a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, intensive care, emergency, pediatrics and women’s services. In addition there is a lab, diagnostic imaging services, physical and respiratory therapy. The facility also features the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, offering leading-edge chemotherapy and radiation therapy, among other cancer services.
Position Summary
The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services to Inpatients of ECU Health- Beaufort Hospital and Outpatients in the community ranging from neonates to the elderly. The Physical Therapy Assistant carries out treatment programs developed by a licensed physical therapist and assists with other duties as assigned by the Director. The Assistant may also provide services at ECU Health Multispecialty Clinic in Belhaven.
Minimum Requirements
Current CPR - BLS for HealthCare Providers
Licensed in North Carolina to practice as PTA
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
