ECU Health Chowan Hospital in Edenton is a 25-bed critical access hospital which provides programs and services to 110,000 people in 6 counties. The facility offers medical and surgical services, including intensive care, a specialty care clinic and a dedicated outpatient surgery area with endoscopy capabilities. A 7-bed emergency department serves approximately 15,000 patients per year and team members at the facility have access to a telemedicine link with the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University.
The Nursing Supervisor is a registered nurse who has the responsibility of clinically managing and coordinating patient care activities on all nursing units. Is proficient in nursing process and crisis management. Make acute administrative decisions regarding patient care and support personnel/equipment needs. Must have a current valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Must have 2 years experience in an acute setting. Experience in critical care preferred. Is in good physical and mental health, and has the ability to work effectively with patients and staff members, and demonstrates leadership ability.

This position is a PRN position.
This position is not eligible for team member benefits.
This position will primarily be a night position, 7P-7A.
