The Antimicrobial Use Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Pharmacy's involvement in all antimicrobial management programs for ECU Health.
Primary functions include coordination of Pharmacy's involvement on the Antimicrobial Use Stewardship Subcommittee, and serves as an educational resource on all antimicrobial matters for Pharmacy.
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
North Carolina Registered Pharmacist license
PGY-1 in Pharmacy Practice with experience in infectious disease management
PGY-2 in Infectious Diseases or related program
BLS required within 30 days of hire
5+ years of progressive experience in antimicrobial stewardship practice and/or medication management quality improvement may be considered as substitute for PGY-2 training
BPS Certification in Infectious Disease (BCIDP), or board eligible
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
