The Nurse Residency Program provides an extensive orientation to the roles and responsibilities associated with professional practice. The process is a minimum of 12 weeks and may be extended for practice in specialty units.
As a Nurse Resident, you will:
Work side by side with a dedicated clinical coaching team throughout your orientation
Participate in skill activities and classroom sessions focused on clinical topics
Receive mentorship from a nurse educator
ADN or BSN required
North Carolina RN license or Multi-State Compact RN license must be active prior to start date
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required
