Position Summary

The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for day to day supervision and coordination of service provision for a multidisciplinary clinical team. Responsibilities include daily monitoring of process effectiveness and clinical outcomes, service delivery, and support of care management and clinical services to patients and families. The Supervisor will also participate in provision of care and service delivery a portion of the time and assist with overall operations of the division/department.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day to day coordination of clinical services including provision  of care, service delivery and quality.
  • Leads interviews, selection, onboarding and training of new staff.
  • Assesses and documents staff competencies.
  • Oversees staff development for assigned areas.
  • Oversees scheduling, productivity management, and time approvals.
  • Holds staff accountable for job responsibilities, productivity and outcome measures, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Conducts performance appraisals on staff in chain of command.


 

Minimum Requirements

  • Associate Degree- or higher.
  • Licensure/Registration/Certification: License as a Registered Nurse, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Zero to two years related experience
  • Must maintain a valid North Carolina drivers license or be licensed in the state of residence and maintain the VH required insurance limits.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
