Position Summary

The Inventory Implementation Specialist works under direction of the inventory system program director. The Inventory implementation specialists is responsible for deploying and ensuring proper operation of our new automated inventory management system - Par Excellence. As an Inventory implementation specialists, you will ensure delivery of the right products to the right location and at the right time across ECU Health. Our Inventory implementation specialists plays an imperative role in patient care across ECU Health. Working in cross-functional teams with a customer service view is expected.

Responsibilities

1.Assist with deployment of Inventory Management system - Par Excellence - and ensure proper operation of system

Support installation and integration of new inventory management system

Assist with maintenance of accurate project plan ensuring project remains on time and under budget

Assist with creation of accurate drawings and related documents for PAR location installation

Work with on-site team to understand scope and needs of projects, including participating on walkthroughs

Serve as liaison for manufacturing, shipping and purchasing departments

Work with Clinical teams, PAR Excellence Technical Support, Information Systems and Plant Operations to ensure efficient and on time installation

Assist with accurate product order documentation with sufficient lead time to ensure on time shipment and product availability


2. Provide ongoing support and ensure proper operation of inventory management system

Provide training for hardware and software

Work with inventory management system technical support to resolve issues

Troubleshoot and resolve enterprise and departmental application problems

Provide support for major projects such as: opening of new services, patient care unit renovations and patient care unit moves


3. Serve as inventory technology and process implementation expert

Make recommendations for improvement of existing processes and assist with implementation

Generate and deliver Par Excellence reports to leadership

Provide meaningful and actionable data

Ensure proper PAR levels are maintained

4. Work both independently and as a part of a team, installing weighted bins system across ECU Health locations

Minimum Requirements

HS degree is required

2 years of supply chain experience is required.

3 to 5 years of healthcare supply chain experience a plus

Healthcare Capital Equipment Installation experience a plus

  • Supply Chain Management Department
  • Shifts are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and will be onsite.  Some nights and weekends may be required along with some regional travel will be required..
